These works started as digital paintings attempting to make objects become the background (a play of positive and negative) and were completed as 2D constructions. One piece consists of four vertical works, which partially connect to one another while also being completely self-contained. The background of one becomes the object of another… Additionally, “screen elements” are included to soften excessive contrast and harsh boundaries.
